Original bug report above appears in closed bug reports. I just mined both of the ore veins located in the area in which the Drakkan Queen resides. All appropriate skill checks were made and the dialogue of both stated that I freed a good-sized chunk of adamantine, but the adamantine ingots didn't appear in my inventory.
Sorry, I am not posting most of the other required information. This seems to be an easily replicated glitch across several different characters now. All other types of exotic metal ingots seem to work normally, just not adamantine. Thanks.
