My first attempt will be.

Rocks fall, everyone dies.

But my second attempt will come after some thought.

I don't even know half of the nobles and people mentioned in this story xD

Eh, maybe that was confusing for Das2-only folks, ignore. I was just including it as an example of a similar question posed to Das1 players.

Lemme reset here: FIFTY YEARS FROM PRESENT-DAY DASARIA2, HOW HAS THE GAMEWORLD CHANGED?

Does Canas win? Is the Empire dissolved? Does Nelina live forever? Is Praetor Pontius now known as the greatest warrior and statesman in history? Has Lochwar been recast as the God if Exotic Entertainment? Have the Koalisk opened a Casino in Two Bridges?

"Does Canas win? Is the Empire dissolved? Does Nelina live forever? Is Praetor Pontius now known as the greatest warrior and statesman in history? Has Lochwar been recast as the God if Exotic Entertainment? Have the Koalisk opened a Casino in Two Bridges?"

I imagine that Canas finally loses, but Varana loses most of its glory and former status. A vast necropolis remains as Cana sacrifices all he can in one final push. Nelina dies of age before the final battles in the land and, by popular vote, Sirill becomes the leader of Dasaria with his Alvinne as the final push is done. The daring and dynamic heroes of Dasaria manage to gain traction in convincing other regions to join the cause. The evil characters manage to get Canas to rally and push into one final battle against the mighty army of the east, central and west. Finally, A group of heroes, with the power of their gods and persistance stand before the dark lord.

The gaze of Culnul and Coloth cast down from the sky as Canas states his final notion of success only to meet his end after an epic battle that even scars the land.

Lochwar is denounced by remaining Varanites as most of their great land is now roamed by strayed undead and rogue necromancers. Dars is a country land where the final battle takes place and half of their planes remains dead after the final battle. Rell becomes famed for supporting the dasarian and varanite push from the east. The planes men wander northward to reclaim new lands. New Varana is split as they continue to fight undead. Iryod makes good on their word to bring the fight to canas as well and afterwards proved to keep the waters clear.

Cear is the grandest port of all time now, and grows to a city far larger than any in the east.
Dasar is rebuilt by the now ended war. And Lord Marduk is honored again. Lendose is also resolved by Siril and dasarians as they work together to restore the cana touched land to a home.

Gulshir, in the final push by canas, is destroyed. The Claw fought with all their creation, but the overwealming odds were beyond staggering. But many cling to its former glory.

Morell keeps its reputation and social status, but now greater thieves and men run the city to be.

Ravenwatch finally begins to extend outwards from its walls now that the war is over, and a grand ceremony for Nelina is held for her funeral.

Two Bridges pushes the Kolsiak to extinction and the land begins to rot. Nightwig moves with her eggs to the former ruins of Daris for a time.

Thanks to the efforts of Darion and former dasarian veterans, hidden baraan, and dasarian socialist, rebuild the city of Daris.

The vanguard desolve and he captains only remain to keep training people who simply want to learn. A martial arts dojo in some ways. They socially support endeavors against localized undead and orcs.

The churches become dynamic and over grown. Faith restored, the churches begin to see an influx of gold and visitors.
Lochwar is cast to a lower position than Marduk once again. Rel and Tyrak are risen even more from lesser gods.
Wine flows from Ineria's church like joy from the victories.

But poverty and rich are ever extended between the classes. For a time after the war and its grace period, there is a great GDP fall and there are small incited rebellions. But these do not last long as our heroes and villains push their plot to stabilize things for their own reasons.

Alvinne's twins become fine rulers in their own right as they govern New Lendose together from the fort Siril once controlled at the front of the war. They become very popular after the financial crash.

Onwards in time...the gods themselves become unresting in their holds. They once again move their pawns against each other and finally...Tiamat is released from her prison. The land itself is Terraformed to some degree. Once again...with a simple sword in hand, they fight with the gods to destroy the realm's greatest enemy.
The night is far spent, the day is at hand;
Let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us wear the armor of light.

Inspiring...

-

"We aint' goin' any closer, mistah. It be too dangerous. If ye want ta go there, ye will have ta take one of the wee boats and row in yerself." the sailor said. Though he was a big and strong man with a thick, greying mane and bulging muscles used to hard work – and fighting the occasional pirate - his eyes shifted between me to the coast in the distance with great fear.
"Ye paid us ta take ye from Iryrod ta Dasaria... but that ain't mean we gunna toss away our lives. Ye can have the rowboat, since ye paid us so nicely for tha trip. Don't expect us ta wait around for ye though..."

I turned my gaze from him, put my hand on the ship's railing, and looked toward the coast.
The night breeze played with the deep hood on my grey traveller's cloak, but not with enough force to pull it from my head.
It was a cold night – and that only meant that there should have been even more light on that coast.
In fact, an entire city should have been visible in the dark, simply because of the many lanterns and lights...

But there was only darknes.
Darkness and an eerie feeling.

"Tell me, sailor... are you certain that this is the right location?" I asked as I looked at the darkness that should have been full of light and life.

In my heart, I already knew the answer.
It did not make it more bearable when the sailor replied: "Aye, sir... this be tha tip o' tha Cearian Peninsula. Tha' used ta be a city right abou' there."

I did not have to look at him to know where he was pointing.

Without further idling, I thanked the crew which had brought me here, and left the ship in the promised rowboat.

They turned around and set sail towards Iryrod's safer shores the moment I left... and who could ever blame them?

-

The walk through the streets of what had once been the living, breathing port city of Cear was like a nightmare.
Not because the city was torn asunder by war and terror... no, in fact, every building had been left intact – for how could this mockery ever had been so great without the city being kept intact?

My heart raced and I was almost overcome with a deep, seething rage as I saw what had been done to this once great place:

All the citizens... men, women and children, had been slain. More than likely, they had been pulled from their homes by the Canites, lined up and then murdered.
Those who had tried to escape would have been filled with arrows and horrible spells.

And then? Then they had been raised again.

The result was horrible; a true necropolis where the citizens shambled about their old homes, forever seeking to prey on the living, who would never come.

Zombies, skeletons, ghouls... even horrors unknown to me, but clearly built using the corpses of Cear's citizens... all of them walked the streets.

Cear... the city of the dead.
The great mockery of that, which had once been the last free province of the Varanite Empire.

Had it not been for my supply of invisibility potions, I would not have made it through this macaber place without being swarmed by the living corpses of people I once traded with...

Canas wins, Cear is sacked, Lendose burned, Ravenswatch pillaged, Nelina slain, the Triumvirate of Coloth, Culnul, and Canas ascend to the throne of the gods with Lochwar and Tharon deposed. A new age of darkness in a world of fun and exciement where the dead rule the land and the few living exist only to serve their monstrous overlords.
Players in Dasaria 3 are dropped into a setting where the "bad guys" won 50 years past and the "good guys" have to work their way up in the ruins of everything they once held dear.

Break the cycle of happy endings. I'd like to see everything go right into the fan.
