Harassment

As applied to in game harassment of a player: You may not use any sexually explicit, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive language. This includes, but is not limited to, any speech or actions dealing with cultural, political, or religious beliefs in an out-of-game or real world context. This also applies to any speech or actions dealing with sexual orientation. This applies to any language. Failure to abide by this rule is grounds for immediate and permanent account closure.

Excessive profanity is not allowed.

Griefing of a player by PvP or pickpocketing is not allowed.

This applies to the forum, the server, and the IRC channel. Consider yourself warned. If we catch you doing this, there will be repercussions.

The definition of "excessive", I think, should be within the realm of common sense.

Use of any of the Seven Dirty Words (google it if you must) in localchat or in a aggression towards another player will result in your being booted from the server. Be sure and pass the word on to your playing companions that don't frequent the server.

Repeat violations may result in loss of levels, deletion of characters, or banning from the server.

I am really tired of what I view as an escalation in the amount offensive OOC language being used on the server. It's ruining my experience and that of others.

I know some of those responsible probably don't read the forums, nonetheless I want to change the tone here.

Persons who defy the server rules, defy the staff, and negatively impact others' experience will find themselves and their characters penalized including loss of levels and deletion of characters.

Persons who continue to make themselves unwelcome in this manner will be banned. It is possible to be enough of a jerk that you're just not welcome here.
